‘Carrick’ the Highgrove Limited Edition Teddy Bear is one of only 250 bears. The bear is handcrafted in Ironbridge by Merrythought, one of the oldest and most prestigious of England’s toy manufacturers for over 70 years.
Each Limited Edition Teddy Bear has been traditionally made with hand sewn features and is fully jointed. It is made from the finest mohair, the fleece from the Angora goat which is the finest of all fibres. Although more difficult to work with, mohair produces brighter and softer fabrics than any other type of fabric.
The Prince of Wales Highgrove Check has been used for the bears scarf and the pads on his paws. It is a design based on the set of a traditional Prince of Wales Check and is woven in Scotland from pure lamb’s wool using soft, subtle colours inspired by the Highgrove garden.
‘Carrick’ the Highgrove Limited Edition Teddy Bear will be a valued heirloom to be passed from generation to generation.
